“Turan Lyceum“ is a full-time school. The number of students in the Lyceum is not more than 500 people, most children know each other, each child is in the center of pedagogical attention, and therefore the atmosphere is reminiscent of a family one.

The average occupancy of classes is 17 students.

All our children are talented, but each child has its own makings, tendencies to certain types of activities, study of academic disciplines, besides, the pace and methods of their learning may differ. We try to take into account these features.

The schedule is designed so that children feel good throughout the day: intellectual, creative, physical activity alternate. Rest, food, walks are provided. After the main lessons there are:

  • correction classes in main academic disciplines, where students can receive individual counseling, fill in the gaps;
  • self-preparation classes for children of grades 1-6;
  • Group classes on the development of scientific, social and business projects;
  • Elective classes in the in-depth study of subjects, preparing children for intellectual competitions and contests;
  • After-school activities in various creative areas (art, dance, school theater, choral and vocal singing, piano, etc.);
  • sports sections (football, basketball, karate, etc.).

On Saturdays, there are conversational clubs “English speaking club” and “Tildesu”, as well as a robotics club.

Employees of the psychological-medical-pedagogical service (four educational psychologists, a speech therapist, two doctors: a pediatrician and a neurologist) provide professional support for the educational process.

The pedagogical team cares about the welfare of the families of their students. Understanding that some parents have difficulty organizing children’s holidays during the vacations, we organized the Holiday camp (during the autumn, winter and spring holidays for 0-4th graders) and ”Rainbow” school summer camp ( in June, for 0-6th graders).

The school has created favorable conditions for the education, upbringing and development of students, which is provided with high-quality infrastructure. Our school is located in three buildings. In the main building, there are classrooms equipped with modern equipment, including interactive ones. There is also a library with a rich book fund.

The second building is a sports complex. In the same building, there are workshops for lessons in technology and fine arts, classes for playing music and chess, etc

On the top floor, far from the noise of school changes and sporting events, there is a large, bright room for school and play lessons for preschool children and their bedroom.

There is a kitchen and a large dining room on two floors of the third building. The third floor is a huge hall where various events are held (festive performances and concerts, seminars, trainings, etc.). All enclosures are interconnected by transitions, which ensures comfortable movement between them.

There is a football field, a basketball, a volleyball and a playground in the schoolyard. The territory is carefully groomed: fresh lawns, alpine slides and flowerbeds create a good mood. Children are happy to spend free time in the yard and play sports.

An important condition for the child to stay in the school is its safety. The school grounds are fenced and securely guarded. On the territory and in the building there is video surveillance.

As an additional service, we offer transporting children from home to school and back.

School infrastructure is not limited to its territory. Since we are part of the Turan Educational Corporation, some classes for students in grades 10–11 (above all, exceeding state educational standards) are held within the walls of the university, which allows our children to immerse themselves in the student environment.

Tau-Turan educational and recreational complex, located in the Bel-Bulak gorge on the territory of the Ile-Alatau State National Park, provides great opportunities for outdoor activities throughout the year.

A good infrastructure, a high level of material and technical and methodological support, a person-centered approach to the training, education and development of students, warm and trusting relationships between all participants in the educational process – all this together creates a comfortable environment.
