OPEN CLASS OF GEOMETRY IN 8 “A”
On February 13, an amazing geometry lesson was held in the 8 “A” class on the topic “Area of the Triangle”. The epigraph to the lesson was the words of the writer Lev Tolstoy: “Knowledge becomes knowledge only when it is acquired by the efforts of one’s thought and not by memory”.
The students had the task to derive the triangle area formulas and learn how to apply them in solving tasks. Students’ creative ideas and their vibrant performances made the lesson lively and relaxed. Under the guidance of a teacher of mathematics Elena Isakova, the children made discoveries and won victories! The words of Confucius: “I hear and forget. I see and remember. I do and understand ” became the motto of this lesson.
